Tai Chi Qigong For the Advanced

These tai chi qigong training programs are for the more advanced practitioners who possess a solid foundation and know how to control and manipulate their vital energies.

Normally, it is recommended that at higher levels you practice under the guidance and supervision of a qualified instructor or master. Since these advanced ecourses have more inherent risks and dangers, you assume these risks when you embark on any qigong training program without proper precautions.

In any case, it is advisable that you read the Disclaimer before attempting any of the exercises given on this website.

Prior to registering for these ecourses, please read over the course descriptions and prerequisites. The qigong training programs vary in length, style and intensity and some may address your specific needs better than others.

    One of the most efficient methods in developing the intrinsic chi lifeforce energy. Stopped Breath Qigong amasses a large amount of energy in a few minutes of practice, at the same time detoxifying and purging the body. One of the most potent forms of qigong meditation ever practiced!

    WARNING: Before you attempt this exercise you should have had sufficient tai chi qigong training, such that you can control your own neidan chi energy confidently and with ease. This is extremely important, since insufficient control can result in injury to yourself.

    Prerequisites: sufficient mastery of the chi energy and Three Breath Qigong. You should also be familiar with appropriate postures for sitting meditation.

  2. COMING SOON:
    Ba Gua Taijiquan or Eight Trigrams Tai Chi
    This powerful tai chi form is deceptively easy to master: just a few basic movements that are repeated over and over again, this form can take as little as 15 minutes to complete, or, when properly extended, as long as two hours!

    This form is based on the principles of the I Ching with perfectly balanced energies worked out in precision form. Eight Trigrams is similar to the Nine Palaces and Huang Style, in that it has never been recorded in writing, although my master tells me it is one of the first sophisticated forms of tai chi qigong developed in early history.

    Out of the several tai chi forms that I have learned, this is probably the best one for generating large amounts of chi and maintaining perfect balance of the energies.

    Prerequisites: basic diaphragmatic breathing, Horse Stance, Bow Stance, Empty Stance, and Tai Chi Walk. Also, Loosening Exercises for Tai Chi Chuan and 18 Postures of Tai Chi Chi Kung.

    Also highly recommended though not required: Standing Meditation Postures, Rooting Qigong and/or Longevity & Health Preserving Exercises.

    WARNING: Do not register for this ecourse, unless you have a strong foundation in tai chi qigong. Practicing this tai chi chuan incorrectly could cause serious injury. Please be sure that you are properly trained and that you have developed enough sensitivity to know when you are circulating the chi energy incorrectly.

  3. Jinggong Shiershi or 12 Postures of Qigong Meditation
    These 12 Qigong Meditation Postures establish a foundation for the development, conscious control and manipulation of the intrinsic chi lifeforce. When incorporated in a tai chi qigong training program, practitioners develop suppleness and flexibility in the limbs and torso. Each of the postures are designed to direct the vital chi energy to different areas of the body, building health and stamina.

    Prerequisites: basic diaphragmatic breathing and reverse breathing technique.
